About Me
I grew up with my parents and 2 younger brothers on a farm in Cavan where I fell in love with country living and learned the value of hard work and being a part of a community.
After attending Millbrook/South Cavan Public School in Millbrook and graduating from Crestwood Secondary, I went to the University of Guelph where I earned an Honours degree in Political Science. I began work for an executive recruitment firm in Toronto before I graduated, and spent the next 12 years working in recruitment and in advertising and media sales, but I found myself looking for a more fulfilling challenge.
When I learned the township was looking for people to lead a fundraising initiative for a new Community Centre, I knew how important this building was going to be for our community, and took on the challenge as Co-Chair of the CMCC Project. Over the 2 year fundraising effort, I met a lot of great people that cared about our community. This included members of Council and staff, who were working hard to make our community a better place and I realized that there was more I could do.

I have been proud to serve as the Deputy Mayor in our Township over the tumultuous last 4 years and, with your support, I want to continue working for our community as Mayor.
